What is Garcinia Cambogia?
The Garcinia Cambogia tree is known for its petite, pumpkin-shaped fruit. Though too sour to eat directly off the branches, this fruit can be enjoyed as a spice or condiment, most notably in Indian and Asian cuisine. The Garcinia cambogia tree thrives in India, southeast Asia, Australia and parts of Africa, because of the hot, humid climate.
The peel of the fruit contains high amounts of hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which is the active ingredient believed to be responsible for most of the weight loss benefits.
